Block Exemption Regulations 1400/2002
In October 2003, E.U. legislation affecting the motor trade came into force. Its full title is 'Block Exemption Regulations 1400/2002' (In short 'BER').
BER changes the way cars are serviced and repaired. It gives motorists a lot more freedom in their decision as to who should look after their cars.
Before BER, it was very difficult to have cars, which were still covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, serviced anywhere except a franchised dealer.
Please note, all the latest models use the assyst plus service system, this system is very complicated and requires us to extract the workshop service code and create a service sheet tailored exactly to your car. Therefore it is very difficult to give an exact price for servicing.
Please call us to discuss your need, it would be advantageous to have the service code and recent mileage to hand.
Also please note, some post 2005 220 CDI models are fitted with a Diesel Particulate Filter, the oil required for these engines carries an extra charge.
